Passport/Visa Procedures
US Citizens: You can obtain your online visa through: https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/ Please note that your passport should be valid for at least six months at the time of travel.
Non-US citizens: Please check with your local Turkish consulate or online at http://www.washington.emb.mfa.gov.tr/ConsularServices.aspx as the procedures and requirements vary depending on your nationality.

Currency
The unit of currency is the Turkish lira (TRY). As of January 1st 2023\4, 1 US dollar equals 30 Turkish lira. Major credit cards are widely accepted. Please notify your bank/credit card company of the dates that you will be abroad and don't forget to get a 4 digit pin code for your credit/debit cards.
