US Citizens: You do not need a visa to visit Greece for up to 90 days, but you must have a valid passport of at least 3 months at the time of travel.

Spring (May, June) and autumn (September, October) are the best times for sightseeing. You may want to travel in July and August to enjoy the Greek islands and their beaches.
The unit of currency is the Euro (EUR). As of Januaray 2019, 1 US dollar equals 0.87 Euro. Major credit cards are widely accepted. Please notify your bank/credit card company of the dates that you will be abroad and don't forget to get a 4 digit pin code for your credit/debit cards.
