US Citizens: You do not need a visa to visit France for up to 90 days, but you must have a valid passport of at least 3 months at the time of travel.

Spring (May, June) and autumn (September, October) are the best times for sightseeing. You may want to travel in July and August to enjoy wine regions and the French Riviera.
